Bilan 2019-2020 : Quelques retours de volontaires

The two weeks I spent at Jardin des ZakYom were full of learning and laughter. Kenza and Guillaume were welcoming and generous hosts who truly want their volunteers to feel comfortable and at home in their beautiful maison. There was a good balance between working and free time that could be used to explore the area, socialize with other volunteers, or read a book in the sun. There was always more than enough delicious food to eat, and mealtimes were a communal effort between hosts and volunteers. There was a variety of work to be done, whether it was building a bamboo shelter for the chickens, weeding and mulching, or cutting back brambles. Thank you for hosting me and I look forward to visiting again someday! 🙂

Kenza & Guillaume are such wonderful and heartwarming persons! We really enjoyed our stay there and we’ve learnt so much about the nature, especially about trees. It was so much fun and it was an amazing feeling to help them with their project! Also we really liked the french and moroccan food 🙂
We had a wonderful time and we hope to see them again!

Dear Kenza, dear Guillaume – thank you.
Thank you for letting us into to the beautiful project of yours. Thank for making sure that we had the feeling of home from the first minute. Thank you for giving us free hands and to trust us in our work.
Thank you for a fantastic month – see you next time <3
For all you guys who considering to visit this place – don’t hesitate !!!

It was an amazing experience staying at the farm of Kenza and Guillaume. They are really great hosts and it is a beautiful project. I felt comfortable from the very first moment on. Work was fun, too. They taught as a lot about farmwork, trees and cooking. I hope to see you guys again soon! 😉

Kenza and Guillaume are not just wonderful hosts but furthermore extraordinary people. The time on the farm was splendid. The countryside is nice and so was the work. I felt home from the very first day on. We were a true community and as such everybody was equal and committed. We laughed a lot. I am very grateful for the joy and the kindness I experienced. Coming back soon!

I had my best time at Kenza’s and Guillaume’s house, I could not recommend this experience enough. I really felt at home and had the opportunity to learn so much about permaculture and the stunning place they live in. If you need to take a break from your everyday life or from the noisy citylife, that’s the place for you!

It is hard to imagine more amazing hosts. The land and home are gorgeous, built and operated with love and kindness. Each day I learned about sustainable living, worked up a sweat, and laughed with everybody. Kenza and Guillaume are doing very important work for the world on Le Jardin de ZakYom. I feel very honored to have been a part of it.
